David Boone

Jesse went to Montana a few weeks ago. While he was there, he had the privilege of shooting his brother's pics for his new album. For those of you who have never heard of David Boone... you soon will. When I saw all these photo's, it really meant a lot to me to see 2 brothers connecting with each other in their own artistic way, which I know brought them closer. I am adding just a few of our favorites.
All of these were taken in the dark. Most of them with no flash, using just the street lamps.

Matt & Jessica...

Mat & Kristin shot this last weekend.  As soon as they were finished, Mat sent these over to us right away.  Kristin told me the story.  

 The Cleveland Browns stadium is one of the most famous landmarks for Cleveland and a lot of people want their photos in the front.  Mat & Kristin, along with the wedding party arrived in front of the stadium.  They were starting to do the photos in front of the outside of the stadium.  Well, the PR director from the stadium comes out and asks,"Do you want to do photos on the field?"  Mat & Kristin looked at each other and said, "Yah!"  

So here they are...  on the field of the Cleveland Browns Stadium.

They couldn't be on the field without have a few plays of their own.  Unfortunately they didn't have a football... but they did have a boutique!  

Looks like they are going long for this pass!

Jerry & Erica...

Jim is responsible for these.... he is to blame for these amazing photo's!
With the amount of weddings that we see, there are some that you are just drawn to. This was one. As Jesse and I were looking at these, we both kept commenting on what a cute couple Jerry & Erica were and how much love we saw in all the photos. They seemed so happy and free-spirited. Jim also told us that he had a wonderful time spending the day with them.

And as I promised... a before and afters!
The original is rather hazy, their faces are on the dark side.
BEFORE:
On this, I warmed the photo up, brightened their faces with the yin/yang tool. Enhanced the blues and greens, and finished again with boutwells magic glasses. With just a few minor changes on these 2 examples I have showed you, you can totally change the look of an already amazing photo and turn it into an extraordinary photo!
AFTER:
How did Jim get the bird to fly directly above them, and the other birds to stand in a line at the end?! (Great job Jim!)
And as I have already said before, It makes such a difference to just relax on your wedding day, be yourself, and have fun. Don't be afraid of getting a small stain on your gown(it can be cleaned... they have professionals for that)and you will end up with some of the most incredible photos on your day.
Here I used a textured overlay.

Mat & Shawn shot this. I totally see Mat's artistic eye for detail and Shawn's art of perfection in this wedding.

After the ceremony, the entire wedding party had a parade in their own GTO! It was such a fun idea, and makes it so unique as well. Seeing the photo's after a wedding has been shot, I really love to see some personality in the shots. And let me tell you... this had it!

Black & White color mix

The layout of this page is so beautiful. I really like how he cropped some of the photo's to be long and skinny. He also processed them with a magical black & white, and finished it all off with a sharpen-like-crazy action.

The fine details.....

You get engaged... you decide where to have your ceremony... you pick the colors to accent your day... you carefully choose your flowers and ribbons... you sample different cakes to get the perfect one... you spend hours on all the fine details of your day.
So each one of our photographers will notice all the details that make your day unique and special and you will remember those for years to come
